Ard Bakery
Ard Bakery is a haven for baked-goods lovers. From the moment you step in, you are greeted by the scent of fresh sourdough, the crispness of a croissant, and a sense of Nordic simplicity.

The bakery was created by two passionate young bakers, Simon Lund Clemmensen and Martin Brandt Sandgreen, who share a deep love for Nordic traditions and a curiosity to challenge them. Quality is their compass, and they work with local, primarily organic ingredients.
The bakery has a minimalist interior, that lets the small works of art on display take center stage. On the shelves, you will find rustic sourdough bread, tempting swirls, and cakes with creative flavor combinations. But what has really made Ard Bakery stand out is their reinterpreted croissants - flaky, buttery, and filled with tempting combinations such as fig compote, raspberry ganache, honey, and white chocolate.
Ard Bakery opened in May 2022, and just one month later, it was recommended by The New York Times. Since then, it has also been nominated as “Best Bakery in the City 2024.” This reflects their level of ambition, attention to detail, and passion for baking that elevates it to something truly special.
